Matthews Architects delivered the design for a major redevelopment of the Intensive Care Unit for the , balancing budget, functionality, and user priorities. The project includes new ICU and High Dependency beds, staff and administration areas, treatment spaces, and upgraded allied health facilities. Careful planning and staging ensured the ICU remained operational throughout construction, with forward-thinking design allowing for future hospital expansion and infrastructure upgrades.
