In 2018, after more than four decades at the helm, Barry Matthews retired as Director of the practice he founded in 1975. While stepping back from day-to-day leadership, Barry continues to contribute as a valued Senior Consultant, offering his insight and experience to the team. His retirement marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter, with Gerald Matthews taking on the role of sole Director. Under Gerald’s leadership, the firm continues to build on its strong foundations—guided by the same ethos of integrity, design excellence, and a deep commitment to shaping meaningful spaces.
