The project involved both the refurbishment and adaptation of existing buildings, alongside the construction of new facilities, to renew and rejuvenate spaces with specialist functions. Matthews Architects led the relocation of the TAFE School of Graphic Design from an external campus and carried out the internal fitout and refurbishment of former gymnasium and workshop buildings. The design focused on enhancing staff and student well-being, improving connections to the external environment, and creating flexible learning spaces that boost staff effectiveness and operational efficiency.
