Lerwin Aged Care

Matthews Architects led the renovation of an existing residential building at Lerwin Aged Care Facility, carefully upgrading accommodation and community spaces while the broader campus remains active. The design focused on age-appropriate environments that are comfortable, safe and familiar for residents.

This project represented a significant investment for the Rural City of Murray Bridge and responded to evolving expectations, trends and care models within the aged care sector. By sensitively adapting the existing building, the work supported contemporary, high-quality care while respecting the facility’s long-standing role in the community.
