The ANFs Union and Nursing Industry Skills Centre and carpark project at Torrens Road, Ridleyton, emphasised innovative design for enhanced service delivery and operational efficiency. Key strategies included economical and time-efficient construction methods, flexible spaces to improve learning environments, and increased user wellbeing. The design integrated ecological sustainability by minimising construction waste, using standard-sized components, maximising natural light, incorporating solar shading, and selecting durable, low-maintenance, sustainably sourced materials. This comprehensive approach ensured the project met government sustainability targets while addressing tight timeframes and budget constraints.
