Urrbrae Agricultural High School – STEM Learning Precinct (Centre for Agricultural Science and Engineering)

Preparing students to innovate future solutions to the growing food crisis requires a broad STEM skillset. The creation of the Centre for Agricultural Science and Engineering focuses the school’s ethos of Science with Practice and reinforces their strong STEM focus on Agriculture, Technology and the Environment across the curriculum. The repurposed building provides an innovative, flexible learning spaces in which students collaborate to engineer solutions to real world problems through better use of agricultural biodiversity. The addition of outdoor teaching and learning spaces incorporating raised garden test beds allow for Agricultural STEM learning and experimentation.
