Charles Hawker Food Sciences Laboratory

The University of Adelaide chose Matthews Architects to redevelop a significant portion of the Charles Hawker Building to create a Food Science Laboratory and new contemporary learning spaces. The project includes a significant amount of specialist equipment, a sensory space and technology to enable online students to engage with on-campus students and teachers. The design integrates technology seamlessly, making it part of the spatial experience.
